The story of Pilyang Kerubin begins with the romance of Melissa (Angelika dela Cruz) and Arman (Raymart Santiago), both graduating law students. Jonas (Paolo Contis), is dead set on getting Melissa even if she is already in a relationship with Arman. He relishes destroying their relationship and schemes to expel Arman from school. He succeeds in separating the lovers but Arman learns of his wicked plans. He elopes with Melissa and soon, she gets pregnant. But life would be hard for the couple, which puts the babys life at risk.
