When the new organizers of Mutya ng Pilipinas said they would bring back the glory of the beauty pageant, they were true to their word. The venue alone: Resorts World Hotel’s Grand Theater was a winner. It was plush and luxurious. The presentation was faaaaab. The audience was kept entertained during the breaks with Pinoy hip hop numbers that sizzled and macho Ukraine acrobats who did an unbelievable balancing act. The Russian hoola-hoop performer was so beautiful and wild with her hoops.
